On Saturday, February 26th, The Donut Dollies documentary will be screening in two locations in the U.S. and this is the first of two announcements. Check tomorrow for our second announcement.
We’re honored to be included as part of the University of Wisconsin Madison’s series, “A Piece of Vietnam”. The Donut Dollies documentary will be screened on Saturday, February 26th at 7 PM at UW Cinematheque, 4070 Vilas Hall, 821 University Avenue, Madison, WI 53706.
Author and Vietnam veteran Doug Bradley, who is featured in our film, will be in attendance at this screening to share some of his memories of the Donut Dollies. We do hope that some of the Donut Dollies who live in the Madison area will attend this screening and stand to be recognized and if a Q&A session takes place, we hope they’ll join in to share some of their experiences.
This screening is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-seated basis, with doors opening 30-minutes before showtime. For any questions including wheelchair access, please write info@cinema.wisc.edu or call 608-262-3627 24-hours ahead.
We thank UW Cinematheque’s Director of Programming, Jim Healy and his team for screening The Donut Dollies for the Madison audience.
Gratefully,
Norm, Jess & Jim
